Normec OWS receives renewal of DIN CERTCO certification

Normec OWS proudly announces the successful renewal of its DIN CERTCO certificates, solidifying its position as an esteemed independent testing laboratory. The renewal, effective for the next five years, reinforces Normec OWS’ commitment to maintaining stringent quality standards and comprehensive testing for a wide range of products.

Independent testing

Having earned the trust and respect of DIN CERTCO for over three decades, Normec OWS continues to be a vital player in the field of independent testing. The certification encompasses various crucial areas, including additives according to DIN EN 13432 standards, biobased products, products biodegradable in soil, Dinplus biowaste bags, industrial compostable products, and products designed for home and garden composting.

Approved by all certification bodies

As an independent lab, Normec OWS has built an international reputation in biodegradation and composting testing. Normec OWS is the only lab worldwide that is recognised by all certification agencies active in certifying biodegradable and/or compostable materials and products. In other words, certification from TÜV Austria, TÜV Rheinland, BPI, Japan BioPlastics Association, Australasian Bioplastics Associaton can be obtained with a single set of Normec OWS reports without the need to carry out additional testing at other laboratories.
